Randy L. Markum, R.N. D.C., graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1984. Prior to Chiropractic College, Randy worked as an emergency room registered nurse and was also one of the original five flight nurses on the Careflite Helicopter at Harris Hospital. Since beginning practice in 1985, he has served as the medical director of a rehabilitation facility specializing in back and neck conditions. He has held multiple positions in the Texas Chiropractic Association and was voted "Young Chiropractor of the Year" many years ago which means he is not that “young” any more. He is certified in sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Randy is lucky enough to have married Karen, who is the office manager for the office. Karen was certified as a chiropractic X-ray tech in 1992. She has hundreds of hours of continuing education in practice management, physiotherapy and insurance. She was certified as a back injury prevention consultant as well as a paralegal.

Karen and Randy are also the proud parents of a beautiful daughter, Paige, who is 2½ years old. Paige is frequently seen at the office assisting with various office duties such as filing (or unfiling), paper shredding, greeting patients and just making us all feel good.
